Your infrastructure project delivery partner

Operating under collaborative, panel, cost-plus and lump sum delivery models, we partner with the Department of Transport and Planning, VIDA Roads, VicRoads, and major contractors to deliver:

  • Major road construction and rehabilitation

  • Geotechnical and landslip remediation

  • Utilities coordination and service integration

  • ISO-certified environmental management

  • Rail corridor and shutdown works

  • Urban and industrial civil development

  • Performance-based network maintenance

Our model integrates structured project management, in-house environmental engineering, VicRoads-registered traffic management and self-perform capability to manage interface risk, protect program certainty and deliver within live, service-dense and environmentally sensitive corridors.

    2020 to Current

Whelans Group is contracted to undertake the road maintenance for far east areas 3 and 4 roads, covering approximately 10% of Victoria.

Whelans Group is experienced in other projects of varying complexity and scope.

We have been involved in numerous boat salvages from the Lakes Entrance sand bar and many contaminated material cleanups.

Our work also includes fire prevention and management, including supplying traffic management for smoke over roads, supplying and operating plant and machinery for clearing vegetation for fire prevention, or management as required in the hotter summer months.

We also have experience working with more difficult situations involving existing services and remote locations.
