Bogong High Plains Road Landslip Remediation Works
There is a large active landslip on Bogong High Plains Road between Mt Beauty and Falls Creek, above Bogong Village – one of the largest experienced on Victoria’s road network in 40 years.
The landslip was first detected in October 2022 and is estimated to be about 70m high and 100m wide.

Concrete Lining Culverts - Fernbank

Full reinforced concrete lining of ARMCO pipe culverts at 239.599km Sandy Creek and 241.805km on Bairnsdale line between Munro and Fernbank.
Macks Creek Culvert Replacement, Colac
Date: 2014
Culvert replacement for V/Line at Macks Creek, 13km west of Colac on the Geelong - Warrnambool Rail Line. Construction service included the removal of the exisiting structure, placement of new precast components, in-situ concrete works, rock work and site reinstatement.
Wurruk - Sale Princes Highway Duplication
Date: 2011 - 2013
Design and construction of the Princes Highway duplication between Wurruk and Sale. The project stretched 4.6km and included works for three roundabouts and eight bridges.
Storm Water Drainage

Storm water drainage at Sale RAAF Base. This includes the installation of pipes, pits and headwalls.
V/Line Fernbank Bridge

Procurement, fabrication and installation of a new concrete battle deck and concrete central piers replacing the existing superstructure and piers for the bridge 247.994km at Traralgon to Bairnsdale line (Fernbank)

Construction of two Biosolids storage dams. This includes bulk earthworks, compaction and placement of clay and installation of a GCL.
Bega Valley Central Waste Facility - Stage 2

Approx. 50,000m3 of bulk excavation, offsite disposal of 26,000 tonnes of excavated material, installation of a 12,600m2 lining system, installation of leachate drainage system and installation of leachate drainage aggregate.

Whelans completed the first major construction phases of the drainage strategy which consists of two large wetlands and a large drainage pipeline.

Eastern Creek is the main drainage line passing through Lakes Entrance. Whelans replaced numerous road crossings with large precast reinforced concrete crown units and in-situ slabs.

Rectification of two slips along the road, a major slip constructed using gabion and reinforced earth stabilisation and second slip constructed using soil reinforced stabilisation.
