Whelans Group operates six quarries in East Gippsland and one in the Wellington Shire, providing the full spectrum of quarry products ranging from civil construction to landscaping, from A Class aggregates to non-descript crushed rock, concrete aggregates, screened river pebbles, gabions and select boulders.

With access to an enormous range of products, stone sizes and colours, including NATA accredited laboratory tested materials with delivery available, all your needs can be met.

Combine our fixed quarry locations with our range of mobile crushing and screening equipment and there is no job or site we cannot reach.

Our Rock Products

We can supply a wide range of sealing or drainage aggregates, a variety of crushed rock classes, multiple sizes of rock, including walling, beaching and armour, in a variety of colours. We can also supply a wide range of products such as round stone, golden beach stone, screened gravel and washed sand. All products are NATA tested and meet specific requirements for any application.

We also offer a concrete recycling option for waste concrete and are able to cart unsuitable material off site. An on‐site crushing option is also available. We have mobile jaw/cone crushers and screens that can be transported to location for the production of various sizes of crushed materials.

Pre‐filled rock gabions can also be purchased from our Bruthen quarry to be transported to site.
