Whelans Group has a fleet of trucks to suit your transporting needs. Our range includes both tip trucks and floats so we can transport almost anything.
With capacities ranging from 5T patrol truck loads to 45T B‐double loads, your requirements can be met.
Our heavy haulage floats range from tri‐axle to quad axle configurations. These heavy vehicles are available for hire externally for any plant shifts required. We can supply certified pilot vehicle and operators for over-dimensional loads and can transport specialty loads of any size.
Most of the Whelans fleet is approved to carry higher mass under the Performance‐Based Standards of the National Heavy Vehicle Register achieving higher productivity and safety through innovative and optimised vehicle design.
Whelans utilises the innovative Ejecta trailer as an alternative to traditional quad trailers, significantly improving safety outcomes across our operations. By eliminating the need for elevated tipping, the Ejecta system removes the risks associated with trailer rollovers and contact with overhead powerlines, resulting in safer worksites.
The Ejecta trailer was developed by Whelans in collaboration with a local engineering works and has become a key part of our heavy haulage fleet. With five Ejecta trailers currently in operation, Whelans remains one of only a small number of heavy haulage companies equipped with this advanced technology.
