In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficient and effective deployment of labour, plant and machinery to support Whelans Group's construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and profitability.
Road Maintenance Contracts Manager
Ready to take the wheel of something big? Whelans Group is on the lookout for a Contracts Manager who’s equal parts organiser, communicator, problem‑solver, and all‑round operational legend. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, love keeping projects moving, and enjoy working with crews and Council partners to make things happen — this is your lane.
This isn’t your average desk‑bound role. You’ll be out in the field, in the office, in meetings, and everywhere in between — keeping road maintenance projects running smoothly across the East Gippsland Shire.
Quarry manager
$150,000+ | Bairnsdale / Bruthen, VIC Vehicle + Super | Full‑time
We’re serious about finding the right Quarry Manager to take ownership of three active quarry sites across Gippsland.
This is a key leadership role for someone who knows quarry operations inside out — someone who can drive production, lead people confidently, maintain high safety standards, and build strong customer relationships.
